Ok ladies. So the time old question, "boxers or briefs?" still plagues us to this very day. For years, I preferred my husband to wear boxers. They looked comfortable and simple enough. But then, just for kicks, I bought him boxer-briefs. Not the super short ones, like the beach-goers wear in St. Tropez, the lower, mid-thigh length, closer to mid-thigh. Now every time I see him, I actually like looking at his underwear. LOL! Seriously, there is nothing more appealing than your man looking...well, appealing! He looks more sophisticated and doesn't remind me of boys in college with holiday characters on their wimpy, old cotton boxers from BEFORE they were in college! And they don't peek out of the back of his jeans like your favorite plumber either.
So this Valentine's Day, instead of begging him for chocolates, lingerie or flowers, try returning the favor and buying him some fashionable briefs. It just might be the thing you need to spice up the sheets without having to invest in bedroom adventure gear...yet

So many of us have over-plucked, sparse, or faint eyebrows. Yes! I am one of them too. I used to fill in my brows every morning with a pencil and by the afternoon, due to the grace of my oily skin, they would have faded or melted away. The simplest and most cost-efficient way to tend to those pesky brows is to fill them in with a basic, natural hair color tone in a matte eyeshadow. Even if you dye your hair, unless it is an unnatural color(s), they should match your hair color. Here is a color guide to help to find the best brow shade for you:
For Natural - Tone Hair Colors (use matte shades ONLY)
- Light Blonde - Medium Blonde Hair: SOFT TAUPE or SOFT GOLD
- Dirty Blonde - Light Brunette: TAUPE
- Strawberry Blonde - Light Red: BRONZE (matte)
- Auburn: SPICE BROWN (medium or deep reddish brown)
- Medium Brunette - Dark Brown: SOFT BROWN or LIGHT SABLE
- Dark Chocolate to True Black: DEEP BROWN or SOFT BLACK
For Unnatural - Tone Hair Colors
- Go with the color of your natural roots. If your roots are blonde and your hair color is darker, go with a neutral tone like a soft brown.
To fill in brows, follow these easy steps:
- Take a slender, natural hair, angled brush (sometimes called any eyeliner or brow brush)
- Lightly dab brush into desired shadow and tap of excess
- Angle the brush inverted, so the point the brush is down
- Begin with the head of your brow and make short upward strokes
- Be sure you are ONLY applying powder to the skin beneath the hair and NOT the hair itself
- Change the angle of the brush to be more horizontal with the brow line to continue filling in the tail end of the brow
- Repeat to the other brow
Filling in your brows can help ease the stress of having to let them grow back after being over waxed or plucked. Don't keep plunking your brows during the regrowth period! No matter how crazy they start getting. Just have patience and fill them in. When they start really growing back, see a brow specialist to get you back on track. Some of our brows are so faint that we appear to be more than just lacking them. A full set of brows is very sexy and allows you to be more expressive.

It's simple! To capture that priceless Pin-up pout, you need to line the EXTERIOR line of your lips with similar or just slightly deeper lipliner than the lipstick. DON'T line outside your mouth, just on the raised part of your natural lip line. Feather in the liner, the fill in the rest with the lipcolor.

I started using Lemongrass oil as a remedy to help with my dry-scalp issues and oily skin.
I simply add between 3-7 drops to my shampoo, body wash, face wash and/or conditioner (3-7 drops to 16-18 fluid oz).
Yes! It is so incredible that it actually realigns the balance between excessive dryness and over-active oil production.

Lemongrass oil is EXTREMELY powerful and must be diluted probably PRIOR to ANY kind of external, internal or environmental use!

I use Lemongrass oil as aromatherapy in our shop to help lift spirits, revitalize the air and bring relaxation. It cleanses the air from fungal spores and other pollutants. We even add it to the water off the floor steamer to kill bacteria, microbes, viruses.
I felt a breakout coming on along my brow line, so I add 1 drop of Lemongrass oil to my face wash (1 teaspoon) and blend them in my hands and washed my face thoroughly in the shower for a few more minutes than normal and the pimples subsided the second I had gotten out of the shower!
A vital of Lemongrass oil can be purchased at your local heathfood store and natural spas for between $5-7 per 1 fluid ounce.

When I speak with most of my clients, they tell me they hate blush. They say they either already blush enough naturally or they just don't know how to use it.
Keep it simple. Always apply blush AFTER you have applied foundation. Applying blush without a proper base can make you skin appear to have rosacea or unbalanced skin tones.
Blush can really make you look happy and youthful for ANY occasion. To figure out which blushes look best on you, know your skin tone:
- IVORY & LIGHT BEIGE (typically Western Europe descent)---------------------------------------Soft, pale neutral pinks and peaches
- WARM BEIGE to MEDIUM (typically Latina, Mediterranean, Mixed descents)-----------------Golden rose and soft scarlets
- DEEP BROWNS (typically African descent)------------------------------------------------------------Rich plums and crimsons
To apply blush, you will ALWAYS need to good blush brush. Never the ones that come in the cheapo little applicators that come with your blush.

Dab the brush in the blush lightly, tab off excess powder, apply brush to the top of your cheek bones. Then in an upward swiping motion, stroke down to the apples of the cheeks. KEEP THE APPLICATION LIGHT! Blend, blend, blend (with NO color on the brush). Apply extra if you want some added color. I love applying blush to the outside corners of my eyes as a base to my eye makeup (also apply lightly).

You don't have to spend a fortune on an incredible mud masque that actually does it's job.
The Aztec Secret Healing Clay Masque is spectacular! I have used it since I was about 10 years old when my acne starting developing.
It's available at your local health food stores and online EVERYWHERE! I've used it on every skin type and acne level before and it WORKS wonders!
To really get the masque to work as it full power, mix it with Apple Cider Vinegar NOT water! Even though you can use water, it doesn't work as well.
Just follow the simple instructions on the container.
The masque will actually make your face PULSATE!! It sucks out the pores in a rhythmic throbbing. It feels very tight, put don't panic.
To remove, I just hop in the shower and run my face under luke-warm water OR use a wet wash cloth and rest it on my face till the masque is completely moist. Then, I start to peel off the masque in pieces and continue rinsing in luke wark water. Finih with your favorite, non-alcohol toner.
DO NOT WEAR MAKEUP FOR AT LEAST 4-6 HOURS! Try the masque BEFORE bedtime! SINCE YOUR PORES ARE NOW OPEN,
MAKEUP WILL DRIVE INTO THE CLEANSED PORES AND CAUSE BREAKOUTS!!!
BE ADVICED-
If you have very fair or red-prone skin, after you remove the masque, you will be red!!! Just wait about 30 mins and it will fade back to normal.
Go out and enjoy your soon to be revealled new skin!
